Introducing the Unveiling of "Teach a Man to Fish" and Its Powerful Mission

From the mission fields of Ecuador to the bustling streets of Ethiopia, the journey of spreading the gospel and uplifting communities has been a lifelong endeavor for many of us involved in global missions. My name is Steve Saint, and my story is deeply intertwined with missions, beginning with my father, Nate Saint, a missionary pilot who gave his life reaching the Huaorani people of Ecuador in 1956. Ever since, I've dedicated my life to observing and participating in missionary work across more than fifty countries, witnessing both successes and areas needing improvement.

One such transformative moment in my journey was meeting Charlie Vittitow, a dedicated dentist whose work evolved from providing dental services to training local church leaders in dental skills. Together, we developed a system enabling indigenous Christians to offer essential dental care, opening doors to share Christ's Gospel in frontier areas.

Another key figure in this mission is Dr. Florence Muindi, whose powerful testimony and dedicated work through Life In Abundance International (LIA) have inspired many. Serving in fourteen countries across Africa and the Caribbean, Florence's ministry embodies Christ’s example by empowering the local church to meet the felt needs of hurting people which is an expression of the Gospel.

Despite our different backgrounds and training, Florence, Charlie, and I are united in our mission from Jesus Christ to make disciples of all nations. As the apostle Paul explains in 1 Corinthians 12, we are each given unique gifts by the Holy Spirit to function together as one body in Christ. This unity and collaboration have driven our efforts to develop sustainable, transformational missions.

This book, "Teach a Man to Fish," aims to share Biblical principles and effective strategies for expanding God’s kingdom, demonstrating how sustainable development can yield lasting fruit in some of the most challenging environments. It’s a love offering to the global church, filled with personal stories and Kingdom principles that have grown from our walk with Jesus Christ.

We invite you to join us on this journey. As we continue to release more of our story and insights, we encourage you to stay connected and be part of this transformative mission. Subscribe to our blog to receive updates and insights on how you can play a role in God’s global mission.
